Artist's Statement


	Inspiration for the pieces comes from working with the lovely colours of the glass and the light it transmits. We produce several different shapes which have come from working on the piece and then firing it – the final firing transforming the piece. We incorporate a variety of Chinese knotting, Silversmithing and beading techniques to complete. A real sense of satisfaction comes from watching the glass change and become a new colour and unique design. We are continually exploring new ways of working with the glass to create pieces which are ‘one of a kind’.
