One of a Kind – Terms and Conditions

‘One of a Kind’ is a small team who want you to be happy with your purchases and our service. So please let us know what we can do to improve our service, by emailing us through the website – ‘contact us’.

Making a Purchase

This is straightforward. Browse through our shop, and add any items that you wish into the ‘shopping basket’. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details needed to complete your order.

We accept credit card payments via a secure server – your details are safe. We also accept ‘Paypal’. If you are buying from outside the UK, place your order, and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your currency.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us when we send an invoice. We have included this term because items are unique, and in case we are no longer able to supply a particular product.

Shipping and Handling

Goods are usually shipped via either first class post or recorded delivery via Royal Mail. Please note that unless you specify one of the signed for services (recorded or special delivery) goods are not insured for loss or damage in transit.

Delivery Schedule

We hope to send your order the next working day after receipt of the order. We will normally send your order to you in 2 working days. International orders are usually received in under 10 working days.

Back Orders

Due to the individual nature of our products, we don’t keep back orders except where they are special orders or seasonal products. You will always be emailed with an option to cancel your order if items are not in stock.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed on our website, credit cards numbers will be encrypted by the secure server using a 128bit encryption.

Guarantee

We really wish you to be happy with your order. All our jewellery is thoroughly tested and should last a lifetime if it is not misused or roughly treated. However, if you should have any problems do not hesitate to contact us. See ‘About Us’ above

One of a Kind will never disclose buyers’ information to third parties.

Returns Policy

If for some reason you are not satisfied with an item, in the first instance, call us to discuss the best way to rectify your unhappiness. If you wish to return goods for credit we may ask you to cover return postage and may also charge a restocking fee at our discretion.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive, which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm. Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.
